FRONT COVER "SAVING WONDER"I have just finished reading Saving Wonder by Mary Knight.
I was attracted to the book by its title and the cover. I am so glad I picked it up. What a story. It’s pretty gentle but tells a very moving tale of the relationships and bonds which form between people. It also points up how important one person can be in effecting change.
On top of all that it is also a coming of age story. I loved the way Mary Knight brought all the people together. How relationships changed and grew as the children got to know each other better. It was a story of life in all it’s triumphs and disappointments.

I would recommend it to any reader who likes to read something which doesn’t just follow the weary stereotype of school life. This is a story about real life. There is also a wonderful element to the story about the importance of language and how knowing the correct word to use makes all the difference to the power of your communications. Read this book. You won’t be sorry you did.

  1. Carole That book sounds wonderful and I will read it. I believe that your choice of words as well as how the words are said are very important. Words can hurt and they can be uplifting. Thank you for the recommendation.
